FAQs

What is Gospel Rooted Groups?

1

Gospel Rooted Groups is a seven-lesson individual Bible study created to help small group leaders deepen their understanding of the gospel and become better equipped to lead others. It explores salvation, biblical truth, spiritual misconceptions, false teaching, and how to clearly explain the gospel.

Is this a group Bible study?

2

No. This study is designed to be completed individually by small group leaders. It is not a curriculum that leaders facilitate in their groups.

The goal is to help you grow personally so you can recognize opportunities for gospel-centered conversations, respond to spiritual confusion with grace, and point people back to Scripture.

Who is this study for?

This study is primarily for small group leaders, Bible study leaders, Sunday School teachers, discipleship leaders, ministry volunteers, and others who help guide people spiritually.

You do not need formal theological training to complete the study.

Do I need to be currently leading a group?

No. The study is helpful for current group leaders, future leaders, and anyone involved in discipleship or ministry who wants to better understand and communicate the gospel.

Can churches use this for leader training?

For example, a church could provide the study to group leaders and ask them to complete one lesson each week as part of a seven-week training initiative.
